@saaad - Try 1. use the pop up Opportunity as start up to install:
left to right, up to bottom as the time they appeared.
Opportunity window said it was a success but there were numerous error msg pop ups. Seemed like the uppacking process itself was somehow terminated though I didn’t do anything at the time.
The disk I created was 20G and I created a 200M fat32 and 19G ext4 partition.
Try 2: sudo -i to switch to root and lauch Opportunity from terminal.
it seemed to be successful too but message was messed up, error msg pop ups were different too (also strange):
I also copy all output in terminal from sudo -i to Opportunity failure (the blacks before sudo in line 2 was copied as shown in terminal):
I also noticed the new system seemed to be mounted in /tmp/work_dir, I tried to chroot with chroot /tmp/work_dir or chroot /tmp/work_dir /bin/bash but it always complained “chroot: failed to run command /bin/bash no such file or dir” (strange again)
This time the disk I created was still 20G, I created a 250M fat32 partition, 2G swap and and 18.5G of ext4 partition.
Hope this can help.
